Biomedical Imaging Position at Arizona State University
The Harrington Department of Bioengineering in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position at any level (Assistant/Associate/or Full Professor) in the area of Biomedical Imaging. We are particularly seeking candidates with expertise in Bio-imaging that aligns with current strengths of the department in Neural Engineering and Cellular, Molecular & Tissue Engineering. It is desired that
the successful applicant have expertise in one or more of the following areas of Bio-imaging:

Molecular and Cellular Imaging: Research experience in methods of in vivo molecular and cellular imaging and research with a strong emphasis on imaging cancer biomarkers, therapy assessment, cancer biology models, tissue engineering, or neural engineering.

Clinical Medical Imaging: Research experience in clinical biomedical imaging, either in methods for acquisition and reconstruction of imaging data or in hardware design, with a strong emphasis on human cardiovascular or brain imaging.

Image Processing/Informatics: Research experience in image processing,methods of image analysis, or image informatics.

Successful candidates will be expected to develop and maintain
internationally recognized, externally-funded research programs, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and participate in service activities in the department, college, and university.

We seek candidates with a doctorate in the fields of biomedical engineering,biomedical informatics, electrical engineering, computer engineering,computer science or an equivalent degree in a related field. Candidates must show evidence of excellence, originality and productivity in teaching and research appropriate to rank. Desired qualifications are referenced above.
